I've had a fair amount of success daytrading(stocks), but I have a full time day job and the time will soon come when I can no longer trade during the day because I will be too busy with my job.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can utilize off market hours(4:00pm EST - 8:30pm EST) to daytrade? Has anyone had any experience trading these hours, or been in the same situation as me and found a way to trade?
Does anyone have experience trading the E-mini's during these hours or foreing markets?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please help!
    Thanks.

  2. make sure your quote vendor

can give you live 1 minute , 3 minute , 5 minute charts

after hours ... and know the recent support / resistance levels

whether in daily or 60 / 30 minute charts

    good luck

ps watch out for the M.M.'s gunning for stops

or pushing the stock you are watching to where

they want to print size volume

( not sure I am right about everything I say , as I am still learning)

ALSO be careful about ECN size fakeouts and placing orders at the correct price when entering them

Trade the Nikkei (did I spell that right?) index futures.

    Or the DAX.

Almost any overseas index should work.

Eurex DAX future doesn't open until 2 a.m. Central. If he can get access to the Nikkei, he can trade that in the evening.

  6. I'm looking at foreign markets as well. Obviously connectivity and data integrity issues are my main concern.

CQG or ESignal seem to be good candidates for relaible data.
