Meaningless statistic in this debate. Oklahoma with some of the nations strictest election laws 52.3% of the Voting Eligible Population. From our election boards approximately 70% of all registered voters voted. California by comparison, 56.5% of eligible voters. Hawaii holds the bottom 42.3% https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/voter-turnout-by-state
For what its worth, I think there have been a number of serious studies of voter fraud. I believe they only looked at recent elections. None of the studies could identify any significant amount of fraud. This result leads to a question of veracity, I would think , for those claiming there is substantial voter fraud occurring in recent elections. Google it and see what you find. Personally, I'm not going to get concerned about this issue until some substantial evidence is turned up. I've noticed that very few citizens, myself included, have an excellent grasp of what the requirements are to register and vote in various states, and how those requirement might differ from state to state; yet many seem to think there is rampant fraud particularly when it comes to non-citizens voting. Why is that. How can a person hold such strong opinions about something they no so little about? An example of a different kind of troubled election would be the 2000 Bush vs. Gore election. There, the issue was a very clear one not involving fraud, but rather a mistake when choosing the type of ballot to be used. That turned out to be an election with a razor thin margin. Florida has subsequently addressed the problem by changing the type of ballot used. As it turned out, even if the Court had not stopped the hand counting of the ballots in the counties that Gore had asked be hand recounted, Bush would have one. However, had the hand recount been carried out for all Florida counties, it was later discovered, Gore would have one by a narrow margin. The reason a hand count became necessary was because the counting machines could not correctly read ballots whose chads had not been completely detached from the ballots. Gore wanted, and got, a hand recount of just the few counties where the Democrats thought they would run the strongest. Those were the counts the Court halted, but, as we know now, the halt did not change the outcome of the count in those select counties. Had instead, Gore asked for and got a hand recount of the entire State, Gore would have won Florida. The legal questions raised by the Courts action in stopping the vote recount are a separate issue, and again, not one involving a question of election fraud.
I don’t know that it is meaningless. Hawaii has voter ID laws, for example. But fine, can you show me that states with ID laws have lower instances of fraud?
Here’s a start.... Michigan Oversight Committees subpoena election equipment and communications Michigan Oversight Committee officials launch deeper investigation into election irregularities Michigan’s legislation bodies granted the state’s Senate and House Oversight Committees subpoena powers Tuesday, in order to allow the elected state officials greater range to investigate allegations of irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. I’ve maintained that it is vitally important as we go forward in Michigan to ensure our election procedures are transparent, efficient and trustworthy when people go to the polls,” state House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Matt Hall, a Republican, said in a statement Tuesday. “This stance isn’t a partisan one. It’s something we all should strive for.” The resolution passed by both the House and Senate, with one Senate Democrat reportedly crossing party lines, allowed subpoenas to be issued to Susan Nash, the Livonia city clerk, and Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey, for all “information and communications” relating to the Nov. 3 election.
Go look at the link to the voter fraud database with convictions I provided. There are many more than 31 convictions between 2000 and 2014.
It needs to be validated to make sure it goes to the right candidate. You cannot just sweep the serious allegations of massive election fraud and ignore it when future elections could very well be affected as well. Atleast, let the proof be seen by higher courts and a determination made on what remedies if any are needed. Until that is done, Joe Biden would be illegitimate in my view and I am sure huge numbers of Americans would feel the same way.
https://thenationalpulse.com/politics/nevada-dmv-subpoena/ Under a subpoena, the state’s GOP obtained data that showed green card holders and non citizens who had obtained driver’s licenses. From this official data set, the Nevada GOP “compared this detailed information against the county voter records in Nevada” and “discovered that 6,260 non citizens were registered to vote and 3,987 non-citizens had voted.” In a signed statement “under the penalty of perjury,” the group’s data analyst Jesse Kamzol outlined his findings, which he emphasized “merit further investigation.” Specifically, Kamzol found: 6,360 positive matches were made from within the DMV file to the Voter File 6,136 (96.5%) of those matched voter registration records have voter registration records that are “active” 3,987 (62.7%) of those matched voter registration records voted/cast ballots that appear to have been counted — meaning, they are not shown as being provisional or rejected mail ballots per data collected from the SoS and/or County Elections Divisions 4,546 (71.5%) of those matched voter registration records appear to have attempted to vote, including provisional votes and rejected mail ballots per data collected from the SoS and/or County Elections Divisions
