    I have full confidence in your ability to operate a browser and search engine.

  2. And I have full confidence in your ability to read and write. No need to be rude man.

    For every negative review on someone, there's a positive. The reason a platform like this exists is not only to communicate, and bounce ideas of other people, but to check out others views and experiences in a more real time way, so we're not stuck cycling through the web.

  4. You can do a search on this very site. Once you get past the fanboy material, you will see that there is very little there there. You will learn that the decades-ago contest that put his name on the map was, and I will be generous here, questionable. And, subsequently, on the occasion he managed outside money he managed to lose most of it while simultaneously enriching himself in his own account. You might want to give that some thought. The NFA certainly did. Their findings and conclusions:

    There is no question that Mr. Williams's personal trading accounts had a material effect upon his composite trading performance. The record reflects that for the first quarter of 1987, Mr. Williams's composite performance showed a loss of $6,122,281, while at the same time Mr. Williams's personal accounts experienced a gain of $902,599. The Panel finds that the fact Mr. Williams was making significant gains while managed customer accounts were suffering considerable losses would be a material fact which a potential customer would need to know in order to make a fully reasoned decision.

    This was at a time when there were timestamp lags and he had a special relationship with his broker. Are the dots connecting yet?

  5. If this is the case, then yeah makes sense why he's been outcasted. And his site does give off scam vibes.

    Didn't Bill O'Neil fail at managing other people's money too? I mean he ran a fund that wasn't profitable. Managing other people's money is hard, especially when you're using techniques more geared to smaller size, retail trading. When you scale up big, (multi-millions big), there are liquidity issues.

  6. This book, published in the mid-'90s, exposed the charlatans of the day in considerable detail. Larry Williams figured prominently. More than most. It was in that book that the author referred to the NFA's findings and warning to potential investors, which I referred to in my prior post. Several years ago, out of idle curiosity, I contacted an enforcement attorney at the NFA just to confirm the author's claim regarding that NFA finding about Williams. The NFA official confirmed it.

    The book outlines other transgressions.

    Gurus are worthless. Thankfully, I never spent a dime on one.

    It is the advantage that the retail trader has. Because of your order size, you don't have to work your order.

    I got more out of Larry Williams than Bill William- Chaos. LOL:D:D
    But Bill Williams has a real good point + may be worth the price of his book for some=''DO not listen to experts'' I'm not sure what Bill William's wife means by '' trading is like sliding down a razor blade of life'' But i use a safety razor or electric razor.
    Chaos context book:caution::caution:
    I remember Larry Williams did call a good major bottom area in the DOW[DIA];
    i dont remember if that applied to SPY benchmark.
    I may have a slight bias towards LW, he gave me free book;
    IBD[investors Business Daily gave me 2 free books also.] Some bias can be good.
