Everything here is stupid and totally misses the point that conservative policies create poverty and stifle growth and well being. Putting someone like Elder as Governor of California would be awful for California and the country.

Whether we look at welfare dependency or Heath it’s conservative states that worse off and liberal states best off. You have to be dumb to look at the data and conclude we should run the country like republicans run their states. Democrat states carry the country, Republican states are a drag. Anyone with half of brain can see republicans do not make the investments needed to grow and build. They have a policy of stagnation at best and decline at worst.

Grab a red and blue crayon.... and then take the test.

California was statistically behind 43 states in 4th-grade reading in 2009. It was statistically behind 22 states in 2019. It was statistically behind 43 states in 2009 in 8th-grade reading and behind 28 states this year. In 4th-grade math, California was statistically behind 43 states in 2009 and behind 37 states in 2019.

  4. You're cherry picking quotes. I'd love to see the full context. Obviously, he's not making the argument that descendants of former slave owners deserve reparations. He's just making a point that the issues of reparations is absurd. So much so that you could argue the opposite.

As with almost every state that booms...
CA boomed as a libertarian state.
Then the carpetbaggers came in... and gave away free shit... to attract votes.

I watched our whole state do this during the time I have lived here.
We had Reagan as governor. (before I was where) We had republican senators.
We had laws which promoted freedom.
We had empty dmvs and a govt which pretty damn well when I moved here.
Then they give away free shit...and raise taxes... not just income taxes.
And then they spend money in terrible ways. Crony shit.

You can watch a similar pattern happening real time in Texas.
We rot the govt from the inside out.. then the cities then the state.
There is a reason why so many big cites are blue and rotting.
    Rotten policies lead to rot.

(I am not attacking left vs right as much as overspending, crony shit and the worst of the left and the worst of the right)

CA boomed under democratic leadership and heavy regulation, recently becoming the world's fifth largest economy.
