    Carbon credits. They get resold.
GM and Fiat Chrysler bought TSLA's if I recall correctly.
Not a handout. They are traded commodities.

1.This is not a demand side statements... Its basic economics. Keynes
was a smart person and a great economist... He is often mischaracterized as simply a demand sider... but he was comprehensive in thought.

This is not simply a demand side statement... its a warning to those who misunderstand what he found....

Nor should the argument seem strange that taxation may be so high as to defeat its object, and that, given sufficient time to gather the fruits, a reduction of taxation will run a better chance than an increase of balancing the budget.

    2. Tax Revenues went up after Trump, Bush Reagan, Kennedy and Mellon tax cuts... There are examples in Europe where increasing taxes led to a decrease in Revenue.

You can not take out the increase in spending from the issues in the United States...because revenues went up and spending went up.

However even Obama's own advisor noted tax increases may hurt revenues...
    Christina Romer found...

"Our baseline specification suggests that an exogenous tax increase of one percent of GDP lowers real GDP by roughly three percent."[14]

They think we throw the term "fascism" willy nilly because we're overreacting and "don't know the definition".

Trump, Elder’s campaign falsely claimed fraud before California votes were counted — a growing GOP tactic
The top Republican seeking to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) in Tuesday’s recall declined before the election to say whether he could accept the results. A website affiliated with his campaign invites visitors to “sign a petition to stop the fraud of the California recall election.” And a previous version of the site — published before the election took place — blamed voter fraud for Newsom being “reinstated” as governor.

There is no evidence for these claims, which have nonetheless been amplified repeatedly this week by former president Donald Trump. But their arrival in the country’s largest blue state offered proof of their currency within the Republican Party, where some leaders have increasingly sought to undermine public confidence in Democratic victories by baselessly alleging that elections are vulnerable to manipulation.

With Newsom projected to defeat the recall, conservative radio host Larry Elder conceded the race early Wednesday morning, telling his audience to be “gracious in defeat.” But his campaign’s tactics in the lead-up to the vote — including open threats to raise doubts about the results in case of defeat — suggest the possibility of a new normal, where Republicans challenge election losses even in heavily Democratic states and without proof of serious fraud or rule-breaking.

What the fuck... why are you bringing Florida into this?

One month ago Covid was about 2x higher in L.A and San Diego

so that map would probably have looked different a month ago.

I was comment on the map perhaps being misleading ... nothing else.

You had little credibility before, but you lost what was left when you mentioned Keynes with Laffer and now you're backpedaling.

And yeah, Red States are all COVID disasters. Per capita deaths leading the developed world.
