Which indexes are highly traded that are outside the US?

    Thanks

  2. Mate there are loads just off the top of my head.

The Dax30 , Eurostock50 (does about the same as the ES), FTSE, CAC, MIB30, Hang Seng, Nikkie, Kospi200, STW, SPI (small vol but good movement, big tick size)

    Cheers

  3. Do you really consider the MIB30 & STW to be liquid markets?? I don't.

AEX is more liquid than MIB30 & STW.

  4. If you want to spilt hairs mate the SPI is less than either the point is the guy asking the question doesnt know any offshore indexes am was just giving him some to research. What indexes do you trade?

  5. Bogan7,

I'm not trying to split hairs.

    Take no offense.

I believe I may have actually asked this same question in the past - and really got no answers.

I then tried to do some research on my own - and the reuslts were surprising.

Some markets seem liquid but in practice are not. For example to me the SPI is more liquid in practice than the MIB or the TAI.

I trade virtually all foreign indices.

Which do you trade? What are your favorites?

  6. Interesting spin on it. I mainly trade the SPI but am finding the STW tradeable dont touch the Hang Seng TOO WILD or the Nikkie doesnt trade well
