I refurbed a Dell E1505.... it's nice really, it connects to the internet in the house but won't connect in a wi-fi hotspot. I've never used a laptop in a coffee place so I can't sort this out. I can do the [xp] repair thing and it goes through the steps, says it connects to the wi-fi apparently, then it requests an IP address and it fails... anybody familiar with this?
whatever, it's the wifi adapter, it's a usb thingy and it doesn't cooperate with xp... I ordered the original dell one refurbed...
