Got a HP Pavilion N5415 and recently I've noticed a thin light green vertical line running from top to bottom on the screen. Rebooting has no effect. Any hardware experts out there have any ideas as to what the problem may be? TIA
This is probably a hardware error internally in the LCD screen electronics. As you can have a failure of single pixel turning green, also a failure could occur in the logic of the matrix adressing which would result in the failure of a complete vertical pixel column (e.g. going green).
