Thinking of getting an ASUS laptop for trading. Is ASUS laptop any good? Currently seeing some offers for ASUS laptop tht are supposedly used for gaming. So I guess if its good for gaming, it should be good for trading?TIA

  2. You'll be sad to know that the internal components of most laptops (Asus, Dell, Toshiba) come from only a few sources.

When buying a laptop I usually try to concentrate on the companies reputation when it comes to honoring a warranty. Also since you will be leaving it on a lot, try to get temperature specs. Get one that doesn't run so hot and has a great warranty. I almost never buy extended warrants except when it comes to laptops. Something is always bound to happen! The laptop I trade on is a 2.4GHZ celeron Dell. It's no a powerhouse but does the job. It only runs around $599.
