Those people out on the water for Labor Day Weekend...water looks rough to me. What were they thinking ? Hopefully they weren't stupid enough to drag their kids out their with them too. Something during the day must have changed traumatically because I saw an earlier photo of Lake Travis with some boaters...water was calm. Later, I heard about several boats sinking and that made the news all the way up here in Québec, Canada because recently we had some boaters drowning due to not being properly prepare to be boating. wrbtrader

Other than Hillary’s spat with Putin and possibly related sanctions on Russia, when has the Democrat Party ever took a position contrary to the interests of Russia? The following is a partial list of examples where Democrats have supported Russian Interests: 1. Democrats oppose all energy pipelines to the benefit of net energy exporter, Russia. 2. Democrats often oppose US efforts at maintaining or gaining geopolitical ground versus Russia. 3. Democrats and Socialists historically have organized through labor unions. 4. Remember the Union of Soviet Socialists Republics(USSR), now known as Russia? Most of the time, the worst Leftist media will portray Putin is him riding a horse with his shirt off. The Democrats, other than Hillary perhaps, are Putin’s bitch, not Trump. Yes I’ve seen the posts suggesting Trump has a conflict of interest because of his hotel in Russia or that a “Pee tape” may exist of Trump getting a “Golden Shower” in Russia, but it is from “Sources” who have their own conflicts of interest and have not reliabily reported accurate information. Bottom line, if it walks like a duck(Long term established history of the Democratic Party and Socialists working together), quacks like a duck(They follow the same or similar political philosophy), and looks like a duck(They both use similar propaganda techniques such as accusing others what they do themselves), you have a duck(Or a Party who is in bed with Russia. Do I need to remind you which party Bernie Sanders is associated with? Which side has initiated or condoned, sometimes encouraging discussion controlling political correctness, statue teardowns, business destruction, violence, and looting? Which party brags about getting the felon vote? Which party created “Sancturary cities” for illegal immigrants and provides taxpayer funded services? What portion of new immigrants vote for Democrats, by the way? Which party opposes voter ID laws that serve to protect the sanctity of the vote? Which party relies on a platform of identity politics that overstates racism and sexism, causing civil unrest for political gain? Which party uses poverty as a platform, but fails to deliver improvements for many of their constituents for decades? Which party increases regulation to the point of forcing businesses and individuals to make concessions, such as political donations, to get anything done such as getting a permit to open a business or pay “Consulting” fees to politically connected businesses in order to buy a piece of commercial property? Then there are taxes, also known as how to get one group of people to pay money to another group of people without providing a value add. For example, Oregon’s road use taxes for big trucks amount to about 3 1/2 times greater than the average rate of each state. Who doesn’t respect voters as in former Seattle Democrat Mayor Ron Sims authorizing a one billion dollar sports stadium after voters turned it down twice? I wonder how much Ron Sims made on that one? Which party does not respect land owners quiet enjoyment of their property when they use section 8 to “Block bust” an established neighborhood or target a condominium building? How about the idea of attempting to redistribute potential voters from a solid district to a swing district, at taxpayers expense? There is more, as Ilhan Omar might tell you. Bottom line, Democrats offer little to working class Americans, regardless of race, sex, or religion. While I respect your opinions, and appreciate your humor, including some of your ad Homs, I must say, make me change my mind.
