Lake Tahoe night sky

Is that Ed Seykota howling in the distance?

 

Venus. 4-magnitude. Unbelievable. Ed only howls during the full Moon.

Sorry about the large scan. Tried to edit with a smaller jpeg but missed the 30-minute window.

Nikon DSLR, but on full-zoom, hand-held. Didn't have time for the tripod as clouds were rolling in.

You did not see any UFO. It was just a Weather Balloon that had gone off course!
