GWB did not decide what to tell. On one hand, he is saying that the mass media were talking about it all the time (lie). On another hand, it is all weak, it might be misinformation. His masters did not decide what to do and the puppet is confused.
I regularly posted information on the source of the Covid virus. Including outlining in my opinion that the virus was inadvertently leaked out of the Wuhan lab -- as the most likely source. I have been stating this for over two years -- don't know where you get your fiction from. Unlike the right-wing extremists and Covid conspiracy crowd -- I never believed the Chinese deliberately created a bio-weapon or that the Chinese deliberately leaked Covid-19 from a military lab. As well as many of the other fictions being promoted by conspiracy theorists on social media. I will note that the mainstream media reporting on the source also evolved as more evidence and reports came out. It started with believing the Chinese government assertion that it came from a "wet market" -- as evidence grew against this theory it became more evident that the likely source was the Wuhan lab. The media reporting evolved as the information evolved.
Not as bad as the WSJ who broke the story with "most likely" in their headline, then proceeded to bury the "low confidence" statement of the text behind a paywall. In fairness though, you could have low confidence on all theories so far.
This is rubbish again. Department of Energy has spy unit? Or it is from psychic energy? The building closes to the wet market is Chinese CDC, an administrative office building, while the virology lab is 6 miles away on the other side of the river. The most of initial cases were from the wet market neighborhood.
Because the primary lab employee (woman) researching Covid who walked out of the lab infected lived in the neighborhood of the wet market and likely shopped there. Don’t forget that factor — based on the information which came out over time.
I don’t wish to discuss nor persuade this subject further. I was banned on zh when trumpians believe what they believe without reasonable arguments back then. The first time lab leak theory I read was from a Chinese YouTuber whom I couldn’t understand without translation, then it took off like a wild fire, went to trump’s political base. Mind you Wuhan doesn’t have lot of direct flights to other countries and was in a lockdown, compared to amount of cases occurred immediately in Italy and Iran, the timeline just didn’t match. https://www.latimes.com/business/st...vidence-that-covid-escaped-from-a-chinese-lab
China was fairly open to share the genome of the virus and a few other details early on; I've "documented" that on this board. They had zero interest in having international observers on the ground to trace/match their findings. While one could conclude they had "plenty to hide" by being uncooperative, I can't blame them given Dump's "China virus" rhetoric and using the country as a scapegoat. IOW; Trump could've weaponized or lied about the findings from a team sent abroad though I don't think he was sophisticated enough to have done so. In any case, China would have zero interest in a team of international or neutral observers either and the suppression of those scientists speaking early only raised doubts. Vanity Fair had a series of very in depth articles on the topic. The US media went full "PC" on the lab leak theory given Dump's rhetoric and talking about a "lab leak" became tantamount to hate speech as objectivity was tossed aside. FWIW: Seems like biological evidence is not there for manipulation of a virus so it's not like lab leak is a certainty, but obstructing ruling it out is not the best way to assuage doubters
