Everyone doesn't have the luxury of working from home like you do. What do you say to the parents that have well behaved children that are 6 and 7 years old. Both parents work at jobs that require them to physically be at work. They cannot afford a nanny an they have no one else to help watch the kids while they are at work.. The parents need two paychecks to pay bills and feed the family. What do they do? Do they leave the 6 and 7 year old kids at home to fend for themselves and hope for the best? The reality is that school and relatively cheap after school care allows for two parents to work.
Well the Republican head of our legislature addressed this previously when someone complained about high child care cost at the time he led the legislature to reject tax rebates/credits for child care.... let's just use his words -- "If the wife can't stay home why are they having children." Yeah... in reality I understand this working parents scenario is a difficult situation. Also single parents who have to work who are doing their best to raise their families have the same issue. Even with schools open -- there are problems for working parents. In normal times most schools have before and after school programs at low cost which watch the kids while parents start early & work to 5pm or later. These before/after school programs are closed down in this era of COVID (including ones ran by the YMCA, etc.). No organization is going to take responsibility for before/after school programs where the kids typically run wild with no social distancing while COVID is prevalent in the community -- ignoring it is nearly impossible to find staff to man these programs. Bottom line: Even with schools open many of these parents can't work an entire day physically at the employers worksite if they are in nursing, retail, etc.

Never say anything in video, audio or text you wouldn't want your mother to see, hear or read. There are several projects underway that will attempt to attribute every utterance you ever made on the infernalnet to your real ID.
