He will be on Tucker Monday which is kind of disappointing. Ideally he would go away, but it'll be interesting to see if he keeps up the humility he displayed in the courtroom or he becomes arrogant. Unfortunately, there's a lot of monied interests praising him while the other side is shaming him. The whole case has become completely political and polarizing. Psychologically speaking, it easier to gravitate towards people who you feel like you (even if they do solely for the wrong reasons). Hopefully he can grow up and realize that they aren't good people. Anybody acting like he should be proud are despicable.
Why are people happy...a kid took a weapon into a crowd and killed 2 people... there are no winners here. The case was a shit show from the beginning and was never going to end well. Whether guilty or not it does not change what happened. Also what if a guy goes to a trump rally with a Fuck Trump shirt and gets attacked and pulls out a gun to shoot 3 people killing 2. That would be allowed by simply claiming self defense.
The same reason they cheered when Trump sent a death squad to deny Michael Reinoehl a self-defense claim in court, they're happy to partake in murdering lefties. It's the fascists' way.
I know people with PTSD and trained with them including helping them in their inner circle to cope with it. Twice I've flown back to the states prior to 2015 to help fellow soldiers (veterans) in crisis with PTSD...it can be a creepy or scary situation. You just don't know if the person will freak out and turn on you... it's like walking on egg shells and you always make sure it's a group effort (not one on one). We need to trust the lawyer and the psycho-therapist counseling Rittenhouse that the PTSD diagnosis is real and not being faked... it's a tough thing to fake and there are ways they can detect when someone is faking PTSD. I don't know what the law is in Wisconsin about PTSD but in some states, it's illegal to own a weapon while you're being treated for PTSD because it's a form of mental illness. In my opinion, if there's fault...its those dumbass owners of the car dealership (I think it some guy named Sal) that allowed a 17 year old teenager to guard his business with an AR-15...a kid that has no military training nor combat experience considering it was a volatile situation in which they knew people were going to riot. Worst, the owner and some of his pals with their guns stayed on the roof for their own protection. I wouldn't be surprise if some of them had military backgrounds and understood the "high ground". They essentially sent Rittenhouse to the wolves while they coward on that roof because he had EMT training ? Seriously, when you have high ground...you have more control. Also, what the fuck were those assholes on the roof doing when Rittenhouse was being chased considering the people on the roof were armed, scopes, and laser pointers ? I won't go as far as to call the kid a hero because he was on the street (not protecting the property and instead was roaming the streets) but he had the right to defend himself against a threat in the state of Wisconsin. If Rittenhouse can do it all over...I bet he'll be on that roof too and not roaming the streets. Even better, he would just stay at his Dad's place or sister's boyfriend place and protect that unless Sal was paying out good mercenary fees for help. wrbtrader
Seems self defense is now the catch all to protect yourself from being charged with killing someone... from Travon Martin case to Rittenhouse..... just claim self defense and you can shoot anyone that comes near you. even the hillbillies in Arbury case are claiming self defense after chasing down an innocent man... When a white kid can walk past police while carrying a major weapon when a minorty would have been pushed down to the ground and questioned over what was he doing there and why did he have a gun and was it legal it shows you that there is a different viewpoint of justice.
Proud Boys call for 'stacking up' bodies 'like cord wood' after Rittenhouse verdict On Friday, NPR reported that extreme right groups are rejoicing at the acquittal of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse — and are fantasizing about instigating more violence in their private channels. "In one Telegram channel for the far-right Proud Boys, some noted they had taken the day off work to await the verdict," reported Odette Yousef. "'There's still a chance for this country,' wrote one. In another channel, a member stated that political violence must continue. 'The left wont stop until their bodie(s) get stacked up like cord wood,' he wrote." In addition to far-right groups, some Republican politicians are congratulating Rittenhouse, with Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) even suggesting he come work for them as an intern. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Too bad he couldn't save his 2020 campaign.... 'I saved Kenosha!': Trump rants about Kyle Rittenhouse verdict on Fox News Trump went on to claim that he "helped save Kenosha" by sending in federal authorities to quell protests in 2020, claiming that Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers "wanted to just let it burn." "We saved Kenosha very early," he said. "It was a horrible couple of nights. They got individual stores. The place didn't burn down to the ground because we sent in a lot of good people."
If you cannot morally distinguish the Arbury killers from Kyle Rittenhouse then there is literally no point even discussing either with you. Your relativism has consumed you entirely.
Nothing. He got not even one conviction of anything considering what transpired. Amazing. Think about you walking down your neighborhood with a rifle. I’d be shot and or arrested at minimum on gun charges. This guy got nothing zero zilch.
Incredible. This is a green light to take matters into your own hands from people who have zero training. Crazy.
