Except you fail to note the number of tests being performed in Florida have decreased greatly. This reduction in tests being performed is primarily due to actions of the DeSantis administration. Greatly reduced number of test being performed leads directly to a reduction in positive results.

Reader---note that the article states that it was a mutated strain of the virus. This is consistent with what I have opined about prior. My view has been that herd immunity would come against strains of the virus. Coronavirus is likely here to stay and it's time to get back to work in my view. My opinion may be wrong of course.
