Holding short. The DELL and INTC news was a bit "unlucky" to my position, but I saw it for what it was: ES being led higher by NQ, on fumes. The markets reaction to this news is somewhat illogical, imo. So, companies have money to spend on hardware, but they are cutting back on employees? Hmmm... Probably China sales to those that don't know any better.
Aggressive traders adding short here, but I don't do that with NQ green. If NQ goes more red than ES, blast it short.
Unless some bizarre buying spree comes in between here and the RTH ES close, holding short overnight. There is trendline support at 1015 that gets higher each passing day (by the fact that the trendine is at an angle, hence trendline support rises each day.) In any case, you want a trendline break and a break of 1015 [if they are not one and the same]. Then a downdraft to 982 ish seems odds on, at which time we reevaluate. That would be nice gains from S 1030 to make up for all the risk taken on these sequence of shorts that have not come to fruition [although I traded badly and some of the shorts should have come to fruition, but that is another story. No question I should have caught a large part of the -30 day]
