Motivation and good system diversification is the key in my opinion to overcome that crap.

 

The ignore button is also a key to overcome that crap. The crap simply vanishes.

 

yes correct. But you also need to be 100% honest with yourself. Something this journal isn't. It is clearly pretending in many ways.
