SPX, 1295.47. FV, 1092.21. OFV, 1295.19. POFVF, 1316.18. Remember, in these recent posts, OFV gets calibrated to the market, then we look at POFVF. Predicting higher prices in SPX.
This is not completely accurate. While POFVF is good only for the day, I also predict the prediction. This helps me in the case where, say SPX is 1300, POFVF says it should go lower today, but then the predictions of POFVF tomorrow for a few days say it will go higher in those days afterwards. The market tends to side with short term forecasts instead of daily forecasts (although even here the daily forecast can be played nimbly). That is why I predict POFVF. Since I am mentioning it here, I will post the predictions: 5-Day POFVF: 1322.73 : 1309.86 : 1273.09 : 1228.96 Note that it thinks it has one more day of gains Wednesday (again, from _today's point of view, i.e, OFV calibration), comes down on Thursday (although still above _current_ SPX) then takes a dive come Friday and into next week Monday.
Isn't it par for the course? Not just for ET but everywhere nowadays. Maybe nitro is just a symptom of the same thing,,like trying to solve a debt crisis by pouring on more debt? Isn't it obvious by now that in spite of the cliche ''nothing succeeds like perseverance'' nitro is in his comfort zone -going round in circles? For him, solving this problem would be a disaster..he might start making money and the shock could actually damage him. I guess that's what most people actually mean when they say they enjoy being problem solvers. No problem= no reason to get out of bed. Actually,he would probably be better off in politics. Most politicians retire happily knowing full well they have achieved exactly nothing.Well, except to enrich themselves...unlike nitro
