Actually most published academic papers show that quantitative models might only work because of Dec/Jan effect. I appreciate your deep thought in your model, but often it appears that you say something deep but with little empirical evidence to support it.
SPX, 1229.89. FV, 1110.87. OFV, 1135.08. POFVF, 1132.87. Short SPX 1229.89. <table border="1"> <tr> <th>Date</th> <th>Action</th> <th>Price</th> <th>Units</th> <th>PnL</th> </tr> <tr> <td>Dec 20, 2011</td> <td>Sell to Open SPX</td> <td>1229.89</td> <td>2</td> <td>Open</td> </tr> </tr> </table>

If you want to eliminate all that extra vertical whitespace you need to remove all the carriage returns from your HTML, e.g.: <table border="1"><tr><th>Date</th><th>Action</th><th>Price</th><th>Units</th><th>PnL</th></tr><tr><td>Dec 20, 2011</td><td>Sell to Open SPX</td><td>1229.89</td><td>2</td><td>Open</td></tr></tr></table> Here is the code with angle brackets changed to parenthesis so it won't be treated as code: (table border="1")(tr)(th)Date(/th)(th)Action(/th)(th)Price(/th)(th)Units(/th)(th)PnL(/th)(/tr)(tr)(td)Dec 20, 2011(/td)(td)Sell to Open SPX(/td)(td)1229.89(/td)(td)2(/td)(td)Open(/td)(/tr)(/tr)(/table)
Thanks. I understand what they are trying to say. I have no problem with people making infinite amounts of money. My problem with the whole thing is that the way the system is set up, if no one has use for you, you are in grave danger of being homeless and hungry. Show me a wealthy person that worries whether they will be on the street begging from one day to the next. It is this scenario that is 100% unconditionally unacceptable to me to see a human being in this manner. A human being should never be put in the situation where they go hungry or have to seek shelter under neath the train tracks. Look into those peoples eyes. Imagine yourself there.
