    This weekend all the dads in my family went out for fathers day. We are discussing the intricacies of MM'ing. I am talking about MMs in particular, when my sister in law sisters college age daughter, who has been listening intently, decides to contribute by saying that it takes the body a football field length walk to burn off the calories from one M&M. This was the expression on our face around the table:

    Later I thought about it and that doesn't seem right. Too low an estimate.

    slower pace and lower weight give ~50 cal/mile
    1 M&M - ~1gram of fat/sugar, maybe ~6cal

    does it mean that some of your assumptions that went into NFV calculations were wrong?
