    Large supply 1138 - 1140 SPX. Huge resistance 1142 to 1150 SPX.

We'll see. These people are giddy buying and nothing may stop 1150 SPX next week.

  4. what are simple methods to detect the monsters? how to tell whether there is monster buyer/seller opposition or just regular buyer/sellers?

To me it is obvious and I don't mean that in a egotistical way. It is probably due to years of watching what normal behavior is when there is little resistance to a direction, and what normal behavior is when there is quite a bit of resistance.

One key thing is watch price action, and the way size is taken and refreshed on bids and asks and the way that size is taken down on bids and offers. Tempo is big as well. I also anticipate these levels a bit by looking at charts and seeing where supply/demand is likely to appear. If the expected supply/demand as seen on price action doesn't play out in accord with this "chart-theory", it is almost certainly to breakout of that range easily for another leg continuation. There are other even more powerful things that aid me, but I cannot talk about those. But the above gets you a surprising amount of the way to a decent analysis.

So far, the theory has played out in accord with "supply at these levels".

    Crazy. This buyer(s) is insane.

SPX should be down _at_least_ 10 handles. If the moron backed off, he would get his average price much lower!

It is the seller that is saavy in this market.

NQ is probably green on buy-the-CSCO-rumor, and high delta of sell-the-news, but I am not sure.

Institutions are surgically buying stock and buying put protection in concert, or synthetic calls. They are also doing this in the indices. This is partly what is giving them courage to continue to buy. Option MMs oblige, then lower the vola again.

This temporarily creates dislocations in options that "never" converge because one month is not long enough to snap the rubber band.

Once again imo, markets do not appear to conserve energy. If it does, I have no idea where the balancing act goes.
