You take sometimes very short scalps (1p.)
What are your reasons to exit the position, where is your stop level? How do you manage the trade, any trailingstops?

    tnx.

    Concerning those short scalps:

When I jump in I always assume that a trend in 5mins is starting.
When it doesn't, I bail out, market or limit, usually by watching the tape.
I have a catastrophic stop in, however, which I always look to get it tighter.

When I say "out" it means I got out on descretion.
When I say "stopped out", stop was hit.

Could be. Bund was cutting through a lot of resistances yesterday, but it was a harsh reversal. Bund is still in overall downtrend, but a little oversold with daily buy divergences. I was surprised that you did hold the long position overnight. Better not staying with a losing future position overnight.

I am trading 1h charts in the Bund nowadays, so there will be many overnights.

    why is that?

Cause you can sleep better that night and you wake up without a bias. I:)
Very often a loser remains a loser the next morning. Surely, it is different if you trade on a longer timeframe, eg. swing trading for several days

Is this the best reason you found? ;-)
So, there is no fundamental reason not to hold a loser overnight.
