  2. Vcap Futures with TradeVec platform is looking at adding Kospi 200 and HSI in the months ahead. We have a growing group who wants to trade these futures contracts so it looks like we may have availability soon. :)

  3. Where you get this news from?
You are part of it or a customer?

  4. I know Paul at Vcap.....he said if there was enough interest they should be able to add the two contracts I mentioned in the next couple of months. Sold some DAX tonight here at the 6337.00 level as I like to trade the DAX many nights.....but it would be a lot better to trade the Kospi earlier in the evening for me (and not have to get up in the middle of the night to trade the DAX). :)

  5. Does there tend to be more volatility at the open and close much like the US markets?

Is there a "lunch time lull" like the US markets in the middle of the trading day for this contract?

If someone were to try trading this from say 9:30pm CT to 11:30-12 CT would there be enough action?

  6. Can you keep us updated if they decide to add those contracts? If their commissions and margin are competitive w/ IB, I might be willing to switch.

  8. Yes I would be interested as well.

However, where are their servers located? I think IB has servers in Asia. Would this company have servers in Asia as well?

One thing especially with the HSI contract is latency or slippage. HSI slippage is terrible on IB, I'm wondering if this is because of IB or just the nature of the contract itself and how volatile it is.

Also, what sort of quotes does this company provide? Do they have real-time ticks or do they consolidate like IB?

If you can only start at 9:30 CT, that means you missed first 2 1/2 hours where usually the volatility happens. I do not trade it at the close (gotta have some sleep :) ), but have periodically seen decent moves around this time.

Middle of the day, it tends to slow down.

Exactly why I made the switch. The lifestyle change is great, and the potential for intra day trading on KOSPI is much bigger than DAX.

Paul is a great guy. It would be good for them to add this contract, but unless it can be traded via Ninja, it is a non started for me. Do not feel like recoding all my stuff.
