Kosovo the new Palestine

  1. Should be interesting to see how quickly a new war begins over the partitioning of Kosovo.

The Serbs are very very angry and rightly so.

  2. the analogy of kosovo to palestine is ridiculous.

  3. Nothing to worry about folks. Interference in Balkan disputes is generally a harmless pursuit and good clean fun for all. Just ask the Hapsburgs.

  4. I see many resemblance to what happened to us and the Serbs.

We both were living on our land.
We both witnessed an influx of foreign migration who came, settled by force and stole land.
And we both had foreign power brokers dictating on us how our country should be divided.

No wonder the president of the new illegal state likened himself to Ben Gurion and his state to israel. He sees huge resemblance between his illegal state and the creation of the state of Israel.

The funny part is, this country could've not opposed the state of Israel's occupation due to the fact that they themselves imported an outside population and ethnically cleansed the Serb population from their homes and land and the heart of historical Serbia.

Had the Kosovans experience been different and had they opposed the state of israel, they would've been Muslim separatists, islamo fascists, killers, terrorists, blood suckers and children killers.

We would've seen pictures and video images of them ethnically cleansing and massacring Serbs, which in fact happened, in all of the American and European news networks.

Had they opposed the state of israel, a different picture would've been painted. and the flock of sheep on this board would've been screaming bloody murder at the brutality of Muslims.

But now that they likened themselves to israel, they will be freedom seekers and peace lovers. Now that they befriended the state of israel, it is the Serbs who will be Christian separatists, Christiano fascists, killers, terrorists, blood suckers and children killers.

I hope this example would be a wake up call to all of the fooled people on this forum.

Then you wouldn't mind explaining how Islam spread from Arabia, throughout Northern Africa, and into Europe during the 100 years or so following Muhammad's death. I think most of the occupants of these lands would say the same things you claim for Muslims...

During the Muslim conquests of the 7th and early 8th centuries, nomadic Arab armies established the Islamic Empire, the largest empire the world had yet seen

    For example, Persia:
The Islamic conquest of Persia (633–656) led to the end of the Sassanid Empire and the eventual decline of the Zoroastrian religion in Persia. However, the achievements of the previous Persian civilizations were not lost, but were to a great extent absorbed by the new Islamic polity. Most Muslim historians have long offered the idea that Persia, on the verge of the Arab invasion, was a society in decline and decay and thus it embraced the invading Arab armies with open arms. This view is not widely accepted however. Some authors have for example used mostly Arab sources to illustrate that "contrary to the claims , Iranians in fact fought long and hard against the invading Arabs." This view further more holds that once politically conquered, the Persians began engaging in a culture war of resistance and succeeded in forcing their own ways on the victorious Arabs.

Regarding Palestine which you claim is yours, and your distaste of conquest, but conquest is how Islam came into control of Jerusalem and the surrounding lands:

The Muslims arrived at Jerusalem around early November 636, and the Roman garrison withdrew into the fortified city. For four months the siege continued, every day there was a fierce assault. At last, when all further resistance was hopeless, the Patriarch Patriarch Sophronius (who acted throughout as the head of the Christian defenders) appeared on the walls and demanded a conference with Abu Ubaidah. He then proposed to capitulate on fair and honourable terms; the Christians were to keep their churches and sanctuaries, no one was to be forced to accept Islam. Sophronius further insisted that these terms should be ratified by the caliph in person. Caliph Umar, then at Medina, agreed to these terms and came with a single camel to the walls of Jerusalem. He signed the capitulation, then entered the city with Sophronius

  6. ok... i think the intent of the thread starter was comparing kosovo to the palestinians... not the serbs. the latter is a better analogy.

it's funny how zbigniew brzezinski keeps popping up. this is obama's foreign adviser... how nice.

  9. Excuse me but you should contact Mark Twain and many other researchers, writers, politicians, travelers and adventurers who did not find you there. The land was a freaking desert and no one lived there besides a few nomads . And your tribe was actually from Yemen (thousands of miles from the Middle East), it was hired as mercenaries by the Crusaders to help them invade and occupy the Middle East. After wiping out local population your tribe eventually settled in Syria, not in Judea.

  10. Which mark twain dddooo?? That mark Twain???

"From Athens all through the islands of the Grecian Archipelago, we saw little but forbidden sea-walls and barren hills, sometimes surmounted by three or four graceful columns of some ancient temples, lonely and deserted---a fitting symbol of desolation that has come upon all Greece in these latter ages. We saw no plowed fields, very few villages, no trees or grass or vegetation of any kind, scarcely, and hardly ever an isolated house. Greece is a bleak, unsmiling desert, without agriculture, manufactures, or commerce, apparently." (The Innocents Abroad, p. 203)

    Or that Mark Twain???

"Greek, Turkish, and Armenian morals consist only in attending church regularly on the appointed Sabbath, and in breaking the ten commandments all the balance of the week. It comes natural to them to lie and cheat in the first place, and then they go on and improve on nature until they arrive at perfection." (The Innocents Abroad, p. 212)

"Everybody lies and cheats----everybody who is in business, at any rate. Even foreigners soon have to come down to the custom of the country, and they do not buy and sell long in Constantinople till they lie and cheat like a Greek. I say like a Greek, because Greeks are called the worst transgressors in this line." (The Innocents Abroad, p. 212)

No wonder a zionist fascist like you would idolize such a man. Why don't you come out of the closet and declare, with pride, that you are no better than your avarage Joe Blow Nazi???
