When I used to trade HSI, I just asked IB to switch me over to HK farm.

If one trade other markets with IB, just create one account for US or EU farms and another one for HK farm.

If this is a serious question, you probably shouldn't trade at all.

I have stopped trading it during end of summer 07 when the contact was opened to main land. The spread became too wide for my risk management and depth got thinner.

    Hi Steve_IB,

Why is intraday margin so high for K200? It is not a violent contract. It is currently almost 11,000.

    Thanks,

It might be quiet now but it can have very sharp moves. nontheless, unless the rules have changed, the exchange requires full margin before an order can be sent.

It makes sense if exchange mandates it, but even on big days, it is still very stable and that is why I was surprised at high intra day margin.

    Thanks,
