Since we are on the subject of Sexual Assault, Cubano....Evre been to a place called 'CHEETAH"S in Pompano??????
I thought Kobe was likely to skate on these charges, and that it was possible the prosecutor would even drop them before trial in light of the victim's troubled history. I've changed my mind. I think he gets convicted, and that likely means hard time for him. She apparently had facial cuts or bruises., consistent with being slapped around, and also internal injuries. A local jury will bury him when they hear this. http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/Sports/kobebryant_hearing030806.html
I heard this morning a reporter saying that " there was consensual sex between Kobe and the Girl, HOWEVER, KOBE FORCED ANAL SEX ON HER and that is the part that was not consensual"......Kobe took a stroll down the dirt road!!!!!!!!
Total hatchet job...and I told you so last year. Lab Results Counter Bryant Accuser's Story http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20040527/sp_nm/nba_crime_bryant_dc_2
Kobe has an unlimited budget team of lawyers and publicists working desperately to spin this thing. His lawyers' tactics have been despicable and many judges would not have tolerated it. Apparently he has the good fortune to have some weak, Lance Itoh type weenie judge who seems intimidated by Kobe's high profile team. Bottom line, we don't know what happened or what the evidence will ultimately show. The girl apparently had signs of being roughed up when she left his room. Put that before a local jury and this other stuff can be forgotten awfully quickly. In any event, the fact that she had sex with someone else has nothing to do with whether or not he is guilty. And we know from our last President that "everyone lies about sex."
It has everything to do with it. ------------------------------------------ From the article: If the woman did have consensual sex soon after she said she was raped by Bryant, then she also would have lied to police who were investigating the case. ------------------------------------------- I think they are trying to shoot her credibility down first. They manage that, her whole case falls apart.
If she did indeed have sex just hours after she stated that Kobe Bryant raped her, and they can irrefutably prove this, not only should they drop these charges, but they should lock this bitch up...
AAA: >In any event, the fact that she had sex with >someone else has nothing to do with whether >or not he is guilty. Apparently creditiblity is not an issue with AAA. She can lie all she wants to the investigative authorities and Grand Jury and it has "nothing to with whether or not he is guilty" JB
First of all, youhave no way of knowing what she told the authorities, what happened in the room or what she did or didn't do afterwards. My main point is that Kobe has a megabucks defense team that has left no stone unturned in smearing this woman. I say let's wait for the actual trial rather than let him off and convict her on the basis of media leaks and speculation. As for how relevant her having sex is, there are many facets to it. If she lied about it, that certainly undermines her credibility, but under the circumstances, perhaps it could be explained away. BTW, the reports are that Kobe also lied to investigators. Does that mean he is automatically guilty? Clearly, her having consensual sex later does not rule out Kobe forcing himself on her. It does appear somewhat unseemly, and Kobe's attorneys are banking on that. Kobe could end up with a phyrric victory here however if he wins by trashing this girl. Win or lose, he comes across as another spoiled jerk pro athlete who regards women as kleenex.
