  3. Why doesn't Kobe take a lie detector test?

Sure, it it not admissible in court, but that information, assuming he could pass, would really poison the jury pool.

Are they afraid he would fail? They could have the person giving the lie detector test sign a waver that he would not release the findings to the public himself, so if Kobe did take a test and fail, we would never know.

In fact, we don't know that he hasn't already taken one and failed, do we?

According to a Sports Illustrade article, the way sex laws are set up in Colorado the sentence for rape is 4 yrs to life, they let you out when they feel you have been rehabilitated. For as long as these sentencing guidelines have been in place nobody has been released in four years.

I would have to agree with Gordon that this penalty is too severe for a he said she said case.

  7. Not one of you people, not one, has ANY knowledge of what went on in this case. Not one of you has any firsthand knowledge of the girls, emotional state, sexual history, or personal integrity. Yet you so freely condemn or exonerate the victim or the accused like a bunch of old women.

There are two lives at stake here. This is not for your personal entertainment. You ALL ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

  8. So what else is new here? None of them has any clue about trading either... Their posts are just a pathetic extension of their trading expertise. That's a common phenomenon. Those who know don't talk, those who talk don't know...
