Naa, doesn't help in the Simple Price Action game given your responses. You feel better though? That's something, so not a total loss, lol.

"See also no reason to be more detailed here."
Still no reason to be absolutely vague either, given you come posting, hat in hand, asking for input but walk away without putting anything into the pot, know what I mean vern?

    Price Action.
Someday perhaps I might contribute something. Who's hungry?

Pure Price action or the same like Maxinger wanted to say with Price action, like having multiple charts from different markets for intermarket analysis ?

Naa, stupid simple price action here.
Maxinger posts good info on the markets he trades and factoids of value to those interested.
He was the first trader I saw to show specifics of HG getting action on which I followed up.
Max is one of the E.F Hutton's.
When E.F Hutton speaks, go load up some charts and see if there's Action.
A trader can determine Go/NoGo on the Action gate.
Got Action? Then any method used has a mobettah prob of shedding some cashola.

Action makes for accurate setups / triggers.
    No Action is self explanitory.

I respect that Max is satisfied with the results of his trading style.
I respect the consistent timely nature of his posts.
No clues afaik as to how he structures his trades. No problemo.
For this reason he goes into the book as an artistic intuitive trader.
That is hella difficult to learn much less teach than any method worth the time, imho.
Axe Max how long it took him to get over the hump.

  6. I just wanted to give a quick feedback: I'm currently looking at it, but this can take some days, as it's a complicated stuff to understand (even for me as the creator of it :D), esp. after such a long time since then...

    Update:
My notes of then and log files and result files say that I ran the analysis last time on 2021/12/27 (during the X-mas days :)).
Here's the program parameters, which I now try to decipher what it all was meaning :)) :
    Code:
    Correlation Params: FNmask=eod_*.csv vFN.sz=20418 vTotal.sz=20418(nPairs=208437153) periodBars=9 USE_YFAPI_EOD=0 MY_MINBARS=57 fUse_WMA=1 WMA_alpha=0.75 CutIfAbsChgPctHigherThan=39.000 fCorrDbg=0 minAbsMeanX=0.250 minAbsMeanY=0.250 min_score=0.500 min_score2=-1000000000.000 min_trade_value=500000.0 max_age_in_calendar_days_of_last_data=45

It means there were 20418 ticker files with 1.5 years of EOD data for each (taken from YahooFinance).

This is a really ignorant observation. They are etfs tracking the same assets long and short, with some leakage. The concept of correlation is irrelevant. Trading these things in pairs is complete nonsense.

  9. Are you sure? Then thx for the warning! Glad I haven't traded them, as I wrote "I hadn't time to apply pairs trading in practice yet" :D
