  1. If my grandmother had a pair, she'd be my grandfather.

Not sure of the relevance in either case :>)

  2. Hey you know, you can keep bashing vendors, both those listed and the vendors who post here, but they [the vendors] have posted a simply extraordinary amount of information which traders can assimilate and use to their further proftiability, for free.

Like this little ditty: "My future is based squarely on trading ER, and ES when price action is normal to active."

Now, for some that might be just a comment, but for me it is a concept that confirms something I use in own trading.

Here, instead of reading a book, use the search engine and read the writings of austinp and ProfLogic posted over the past several days/weeks.

If a picture doesn't emerge, well, maybe you enjoy having the glass half-empty.

I'll leave one of my own. "I trade ES and YM while using NQ as a gauge for the trend of the market."

    Best Regards,

    JJ

  4. JJ, you are right about all that... one reason why you are squarely on the long road to success in our profession.

To quote Eminem; <i>"I am what you say I am."</i> Whatever anyone thinks of me is their perception, and perception is reality.

<i>"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still."</i> That means any amount of proof will not change someone's mind which is emotionally married to an opinion. No amount of evidence or proof can overcome a human opinion, period.

With that in mind, I wish you all here at ET the very best and nothing less in your respective trading careers. Have a great one!

    Quoting eminem LOL

sheesh between you, prof and steve46 I've never seen such a bunch of needy attention hogs, the worst part is all three of you are completely self delusional.

Do us all a favor and just trade and stop talking please.

<b>joab</b>, I always enjoyed everything you wrote. Very good stuff in your profile of posts.

Attention hog? No, not really. Just trade and stop talking in here? Good advice. I'll take it.

No offence Austin I wasn't really referring to you as much as steve46.

    Happy Trades. :)

  8. No offense taken, <b>Joab</b>. Please keep up the excellent work. As for me, I'm retired from ET tonight. There simply is no place for me in this forum: the "taint" of a vendor carries prejudice, right or wrong. On the other side of this coin, I work with people every day who tell me my info has literally changed = saved their trading careers.

So is it snake oil or one answer to the quest for success that I provide? All I know for sure is that I've defended myself one too many times in here, and have had enough.

This is an excellent forum, I enjoyed my time inside, but will never post again. As for being missed, I'll blow away like a fart in a windstorm. No self-delusions on my part there (huge laugh).

Y'all take great care of yourselves now. Be careful out there!

  9. You don't have to leave.....I do not think Joab told you to get the "Hull" out of here. :D

JK...I could not pass up on that one. :p

  10. Well, I hope my post didn't have anything with you blowing away like a fart
in a windstorm. Winter has been bad enough around here w/o your fart
blowing all around in the wind... LOL...

I know I started the "ET is a BitchFest" thread which brought a little bit
of attention to your method or whatever, but like most (if not all)
of the posters on this forum I had no idea what you were really
selling for the 2k you were asking.

So, with that said, I now know from various sources what you are teaching
and I have no qualms about what you teach. (A little pricey for 2K,
but I see you have lowered the price lately for the core concept).

As for RS of Houston and the original Traders International, I also
agree with Austin on what he says about them. (Both too pricey though).

With all methods it is the trader that has to make the method
work for them. You have to learn it inside and out. Because if you
don't, you will get burned thinking the method will do all the work for you...
