That's an ignorant statement. In the 1980's 100's of LBO firms went under. Doesn't sound risk free to me. You can't use the word leverage and risk free in the same sentence. I'm sorry.

I did not say risk free. And I do not know history of 1980's LBO. I am talking about now in the USA and how this private equity leveraged buyouts can have leverage with other people money, and put LITTLE of their own cash for skin in the game.

Like a hedge fund? Like a futures trading account? Like a CTA?

You want your president of the future to be like the hedge fund, futures trading account, CTA? They are thinking of the making money for only them y the clients, not the country where they live. I am not saying is bad to make money. For the president is want someone who can think outside of his interest of wealth for only him and his family or his religion. The hedge fund, futures trading, CTA purpose is only for select clients and thier own. For the president I hope he can to see the bigger picture to make the country wealthy and have success.

  7. Hedge funds, CTA's and fx accounts do not put people out of work. Naked capitalism without a moral balance has never, and will never, work.

Newt was right, just because you have a right to do it does not mean it is the right thing to do.

Of course it does RCG. Their use to be a term for it. They were called Bear Raiders. They would sell a company's stock short driving it into bankruptcy and putting everyone out of work. Jesse Livermore was one of the first to get called that. Oh sure, it's all morally justified if you say you were just trading off of a chart. It produces the same result though.

When Soros crushed the pound in 92 he put millions out of work and even more into bankruptcy.

You guys really need to look in the mirror a little more closer sometime and be careful with those stones. Glass breaks easily don't ya know?

  9. I'll have to wait until the vid clips get posted, but Newt has become the crusader now:D

Says the powerful rich companies are defensive, he just asked a few questions. That Newt is something else, he will be the nominee, or no one will:D

  10. As an individual trader, I have the right to NOT short sell a company to zero tho. That is the point. I can trade green only companies. If my sole and only motivation is raw profit, without being aware of the consequences then it is wrong, tho not illegal.

Corporate Raiders are despised because they are wrong.

Now the one percent has a face. His name is Mitt Romney. Newt is a masterful attack dog, just masterful!
