A position all the candidates supported... but argued over who would do it quicker. The wall/fence (one of the longest in the world at 234 miles) is going up very quickly.
Spoke to a family member who is Haitian and she actually said, Haiti has gotten to the point i needs to be invaded by somebody... No military, no political leadership, gangs control 3/4 of the city, no police force, absolute poverty... if ever a country was screaming to be recolonized haha...
Dominican republic gets the same hurricanes and does pretty well.... Port Au Prince is mostly built into the side of the mountain just like we see in Mexico City and Guatemala and earthquakes have not devastated those cities so just needs to be done right. If you find Haiti useless to you I can see why you say why bother helping the people....
