"We cannot expect the Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism."

    - Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev, 1959

    and also....

"Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river."
Nikita Khrushchev (I don't have a date for this one)

  2. So presumably a vote for Obama is a vote for Communism, in your mind.

    Most people see through that.

I never mentioned Obama at all the post.

I'm not egotistical enough to think that a person would care to go through my posts to see what my beliefs are, but if you did you would see that is not my logic at all. The fact is that at this point Bush and Paulson are imposing socialism on us to a degree that I doubt Obama would be able to get away with. I have no doubt that Obama's ideology is strongly influenced by Socialism and Marxism, he nearly admits so himself.

I think that the problem with McCain is that he has no idea what he stands for. He has sold his soul to try to win this election, and so I think that a lot of people are voting for Obama because at least he has some consistent message (Change, Hope) vs McCain who's been all over the place.

McCain's plan to nationalize mortgage's is the most socialist thing out there. My point is about both sides, not one or the other.
