Nice to see you are still on the BOAT ( trading )

Well that is why i am scared in joining a prop firm they can tell you something and then do something else.

  4. imo Esignal has the best charting for the price. Any decent platform will allow linking. Also, in regard to which platform is the best...for day-trading Anvil (Assent) or Lightspeed (Lightspeed) are by far the best. For institutional trading Redi-Plus is probably preferred, however nowadays most institutions run black boxes and have their own proprietary front/back ends.

  5. Yes, that's all true, but you fail to mention all of the other prop shops force you into the crappy Sterling Platform that hasn't been upgraded in years.
    Why is that ?

  6. sterling is basically free. that's why many small prop shops have it. "prop" isn't necessarily the correct term...refers to proprietary meaning that the trader is licensed and trading as a reg rep under the b/d. the more appropriate term would be institutional shop--including both "prop" and unlicensed traders.

  7. As far as orders being entered and confirmation of fills, I don’t think it can get any faster, but overall there is absolutely nothing worthwhile about Sterling. They don’t even have one-sends-other orders. I think they just added one-cancels-other orders ,(which I use a lot) a few months ago. I have noticed that that the quotes sometimes get delayed or hung up slightly, but nothing big. Either that or sometimes I get really good fills before the market gets there. There are only about 6 indicators on the charts. I have just begun using the api, and I think that will work pretty good, although there is very little documentation helping with that.

I guess they don’t have much incentive for updating the software because they aren’t making money off of brokerage accounts. IB, TOS, Tradestation, etc. give their software for free to attract the brokerage business.

  9. Exposing the BS. Truthshallset is an alias for part of the aforesaid mentioned management team. If you do a google search for thetruthshallsetyourfree, you will find the signature being that of a Deszcko or name there similiar. This name also appears on the testimonials page of a well known notorious daytrader educational company. Ask yourself why would an independent person promote VCM Trading.

Lets talk about that? Do the google search and then ask yourself about the intelligence, the arrogance and the integrity of this bunch.

Lets start with the Chief Information Officer?

    Or, the President?

Are individuals in the VCM management and VCM being sued for offenses including fraud and or negligent misrepresentation? You can check with the NYS Supreme Court, New York County.
