I like Kevin O'Leary. You know why? Because all he cares about is MONEY. That is the most important thing in any universe, because without it, you will be sad. Now while on the surface that may seem harsh, here is the reality. With money you can do anything you want to do. If your motive is good, then you will do good. If motive is bad, you will do bad. But at least you have a damned CHOICE! All the altruistic feel-good stuff is great, but that does not put food on the table. You need to make MONEY. Now...Who on this forum wishes to come into the lion's den and argue that line of thought with me. I dare ANYONE on this forum to disagree with me. I am in my prime. WHO the hell will argue with me that the point of investing in anything is to do something other than make money, and that Kevin is somehow wrong? If you choose to challenge me, make it a new thread in Chit-Chat, because the Crypto section is not appropriate for this discussion.
Degrees. After a certain point money does neither buy happiness nor health. But I admit in a winner take all, wild west capitalist system you better make a darn large amount of money to cover your basic health care, kids education, afford your trophy wife, horse, house... To keep pace with the Jones. And even when you make a good amount of money you can be an ass and selfish AF without any regard to the next being or you can act responsibly and help others next to you flourish as well. Why do you think many of the mega rich work so hard on their legacy and tombstones? Because they are still confused about the concept of happiness and fulfillment in life.
Sounds like one-dimensional thinking. If you don’t invest in your health with exercise and good food, there’s not much money can do for you. If you don’t invest in your irl relationships, there’s not much money can do for you. Money is useful and it can be a master game. However money is no substitute for the experiences that give life meaning.
Money just amplifies who you are as a person. To me if someone is just a little bit of an asshole, then money will just make them a huge asshole. A good person will become a greater person who is always giving and helping others. People also let money change who they are, as i've seen with my own father and wish to never be like him. Bottom line, money will change you no matter what.
Kevin O Leary has a huge nose. I'm not sure anyone needs a nose that big but he's got one. it's freaking huge. I'm not sure what that means. Anyone?
