  1. There’s a woman on YouTube who complained that her husband doesn’t go down on her anymore since he’s on a strick Karnivore diet. Beavers not on the list and it comes in a box.

One might not need fiber in the future ...

For true believers until then, ...

My wife has been carnivore for over 3 years, has not eaten roughage or a single plant-based food, and is regular as can be. I've been ketovore/carnivore for a little over 1½ years, also eat no roughage, and am very regular (with less frequency than prior to carnivore). My entire life I always thought you absolutely needed fiber or your bowels would become totally impacted... the truth is you don't. Anyway, here's a couple of videos for you to (ahem) chew on, the first by Dr. Ken Berry and the second by Dr. Anthony Chaffee:

  4. Fiber is a prebiotic and is good for gut health. Or is that now also wrong?

  6. Is that health measured in a way aside from regularity etc?

  7. I would think so. But don't forget that there is soluble and insoluble fiber, each providing its own set of benefits. You can look that up.

As for Berry's conclusion that fiber has no bearing on colon health, I think I'll go with these findings instead:

If you are interested in possibly adopting the carnivore lifestyle part of the issue will be whether you are the type of can-do jump all in personality or more cautious take-it-slow personality. And this will have initial repercussions because you are having your body convert from a carbohydrate/sugar basis as your source of energy to a fat based system.

If you jump right in you will probably have a nasty week or two of horrendous diarrhea as your intestinal system adapts to your new diet. That's what my wife did and the results she had. I on the other hand took it slow, mostly because I had a huge reservoir of "bad" food that I didn't want to throw away, so my conversion was gradual over a couple months. And I had no diarrhea.

Anyway, here are a few good carnivore people to look thru their videos:

Health research is such an interesting thing.

    one guy says no veggies.
    Another says only veggies.

personally I think humans were designed to be omnivores.
