  1. Looks like an ammo clip....cooking must be dangerous where you live...

  2. I have the Anova as well.

I like chef J. KENJI LÓPEZ-ALT and other chefs at Serious Eats. Most recipes are not sous vide. Everything I have tried is delicious; there are explanations of the key points as to why the recipes work.

They have a nice starter collection of sous vide recipes.

Try the pork belly! I am impatient so I often just cook the non-vide; the belly comes out succulent & tender anyway.

If the meal isn't up to snuff I shoot it.

  5. Man, talk about being all in.

Maybe you guys are right about all this keto stuff; I don't know. But I don't like playing anything that close to the wire.

  6. It does not suck unless you are addicted to the foods you have to give up. I love eggs and cheese for breakfast. At lunch today I had grilled chicken with olive oil/salt and a side of spiral zucchini/melted mozzerella. Salted nuts for snack with a few squares of 86% chocolate intermingled. Granted it is not a margherita pizza followed by cookes and cream ice cream but thegood feeling I have outweighs misisng out on food like that.

I did have a chocolate macroon at Paul's. Was really good but I can go another couple of weeks without it.

First 2-3 weeks are the adjustment but after that it is fine. I been out to eat several times this past week with friends and family chowing down on fresh pita bread baked in a pizza oven, brick oven pizza (my weakness) lots of ice cream and cake and crepes. Cravings creep in at times but overall my tastes have changed.

When I get sub 210 and get back to the gym lifting (out of country another 2 weeks) I will see what I can cheat with and not feel shitty.

  8. I tried a powdered bone broth...tasted like rats asshole....if you can't make it fresh it will suck but you don't need it really for good paleo/keto imho.

  9. But it gives you that "glow," man.

On the other hand- full disclosure- I don't actually know how a rat's arsehole tastes.

Intermittent fasting on keto is moronic. I doubt that she remains in keto with her carbs. Type 1 diabetic who weaned herself off of insulin. Sounds plausible.
