  2. As a Republican, I'm just sorry that this flap has killed any slight chance that Kerry would snare the Democratic nomination again. Sure he'll make his appearances in Iowa, but he's toast. And if the Democrats don't do as well on Tuesday as they've been hoping, there will be a lot of Democratic supporters who will think that the guy's poor campaigning skills lost the election in 2004 and then went on to hurt them in 2006. Much as we would love for John Kerry to be the face of the party, he'll be persona non grata at Democratic campaign stops after this. Perhaps, the gift will stop giving after all.

  4. “As a member of what John Kerry called in 1971 an Army like that of “Genghis Khan,” I wasn’t surprised by his comments that our troops in Iraq were those “stuck there” because of bad educational performance. It is a fitting sequel to his claims, as recently as last spring, that our soldiers “were terrorizing women and children” in the dead of night, and as long ago as his many statements in the early 1970s that we were murderers and rapists.

“Kerry has stated this was just a misfired joke. But it was not a joke to the Pennsylvania mother with two sons in the Marines in Iraq (who both volunteered with MBAs and far higher grades than C-student Kerry) who recently called me crying. Nor was it a joke to millions of us who listened to our maimed and dead friends described by Kerry in 1971 as an army of rapists and murderers.

“Bob Casey’s decision to stand with John Kerry and attempt to explain away this appalling statement represents a disgraceful disregard for our troops and their families. Not only should Mr. Casey apologize for his blind partisanship, he should forcefully repudiate John Kerry’s remarks and issue a statement of support to our men and women in uniform who are bravely serving in Harm’s Way.”

  5. Just watched democratic congressman Harold Ford from Tennessee grilled on Hannity & Colmes about his decision to forgive and forget what Kerry said after Kerry's apology today.

Hannity was of course perplexed how he could do that...

Ford said: "When Dick Cheney shot his friend in the face with a shotgun, he apologized, and I accepted his apology. I am a Christian. That's what Christians do, they forgive.... and Kerry apologized, so I forgive him."

Hannity with a dumbass look on his face didn't have any response...

  9. I don't know what the fuck they are. But they can can't answer a simple question with regard to a policy they apparently support. They can't create a coherent paragraph to articulate their position. Freaking amazing really.

    Brain dead....Moronic maybe...I don't know...you pick the description.
