The health problems in the USA are partly structural at lower social tiers, with issues like food deserts and limited access to healthy options. However, the larger issue is cultural: Americans tend to be compulsive comfort seekers, prioritizing immediate gratification over long-term well-being. The "choose a big f***ing refrigerator" culture is as toxic as unprocessed food deserts. The market caters to what people demand, creating a feedback loop where competition drives the production of cheap, unhealthy food that masquerades as "good." This doom-loop ensures that much of what could be nourishing is turned into trash. Breaking this cycle would be a monumental challenge, but good luck trying. Unfortunately, it’s in the more sophisticated realms of public health where RFK Jr.’s leadership would be disastrous. Narcissists have a way of undermining everything, as if it were a law of nature.
Narcissists simply lack much capacity to understand others exist when outside their field of attention, theory of mind etc. When someone is outside their immediate field of attention or interest, narcissists can perceive them more as tools, obstacles, or background characters rather than as full, complex individuals.
You're just jealous he's older than you and in way better shape. Diet means nothing... pull-ups are the key Freddie.
No he's not in better shape. He's on TRT, I'm not. And I'm leaner. Pull-ups are my principal back exercise. I can do more than you can, that's all that matters.
TRT scares me, a friend tried it for a few months. He didn't keep it up but found in less than a year after stopping he had become basically mentally asexual. His T tested as before, but he says he though everything works he has lost any romantic urges. Peaceful but...I'm married. I have a feeling however that RFK Jr is just basting himself in Androgel.
That's an unexpected outcome, no? I thought it would have the opposite effect. I never really looked into it because the idea does not interest me, and I don't feel I have the need for it. But I figured more test meant more vigor and all that.
