If all the eggs don't hatch, what you mention would only be a temporary problem. There are a gazillion ways to bring suit on the same fundamental issue. Clever lawyers make the big bucks. ultimately even folks locked into the jobs for life will respond to 290 million mad as hell folks. They don't relish the thought of their wives reminding them of what assholes they have been.

  2. But if they are cases of major significance they all - whether initiated in a lefty jurisdiction or a conservative jurisdiction- must both ultimately look to the same Supreme Court. Howz that lookin for ya these days Bro? Oh, I see, your ilk has some games to play that will cause heartburn for two-four months. Fine. Then what?

Oh, and did you make sure that Ruthie got her double dose of Tahitian Noni Juice this morning?

There may be a million ways to bring suit on the same issue because any nut can initiate a lawsuit over anything, but you dont get a million shots before the Supreme Court.

no problem. The Democrats have already arranged for a heart lung machine and a respirator to be plugged in and standing by at 1 First Street, D.C. Everything will depend on the November election if any one of those eggs doesn't hatch. Now that McConnell has blazed the trail, the Democrats won't even blink if they have to hold the seat open for 27 months. And who knows, President Pence may cave in the meantime. :D Never count your chickens before they hatch!

  4. Okay, well, just keep following Maxine Water's lead. It is easier than thinking.

You know that trump will not settle on DACA at any time during those "27 months" that you are planning to keep the court seat open- but for the dems it has never been about actually helping anyone on the Dem Plantation. It's all about taking minorities down off the shelf and using them for votes and then putting them back on the shelf after that.

Well in truth I am not saying anything other than it would be a mistake to count your chickens before they hatch. The next few months are promising to be tumultuous. A prudent person would not bet on any particular outcome while the overture is still playing for what promises to be a spectacular, all singing, all dancing performance. Who knows? Perhaps Trump, while distraught over his concern for those DACA kids he's hung out to dry, will purchase a charming little DACHA on the outskirts of Moscow with nine holes of golf in the back yard. A splendid place to retire to, don't you think? And it includes a bed suitable for peeing! And too, what a lovely little bedside table on which to rest his copy of "Hitlers Best Speeches."

If ever there was a bed suitable for peeing, this is it, don't you think!
All it takes is "one click".

  10. Mistake or no mistake, I have gone ahead and counted a minimum of two appointments and confirmations during his first term. Not a chance that I will be changing that statement or view. Hint, most viewers are thinking that that is not exactly the most ballsy prediction that one could make. Also known as a done deal.

Also, as explained extensively yesterday, he may walk down through one or more who are not confirmed but that goes with the turf and that is neither here nor there in the long run nor does it change the long term outcome which I stated: Minimum of two for the first term. Could be more. We dont know which chicken it will be this time around, but there will be another chicken. Go ahead and put down for "making the mistake" of counting on that. You ilk needs to get do your histrionic, estrogen-driven dance for each nominee, and that is already baked into the process.

If you need to pull into a lotus position and contemplate whether there will be another appointment and confirmation in this term, then go for it. Maybe after 2020, President Waters will nominate someone more to your liking.
