He failed, initially, to mention that he was in a deposit-prop arrangement. He simply stated it was "Dodd Frank" and he was forced to trade offshore. If you believe THAT is a legitimate prop-gig then yeah, I will have to lower the bar for you. My first job out of undergrad was at a Primary Dealer on a prop desk. Don't conflate your knowledge of San Diego's residential RE with anything trading related. You're woefully out of your depth.
