Hey folks.. Just a few questions that I have regarding IB accounts. I have been an active trader for the past few years and I have stopped trading for the past six months and will not trade again probably for another six months to 1 year. I do know that I will be charged a data fee of 10.00 per month because of no commissions generated. 1. How much is the account insured upto ? (just having cash) 2. What is the current interest rate ? 3. Would you recommend using it as a type of savings account while not trading ? Thanks in advance for you help Victor
