Kavanaugh is on fire

  1. You're like a kid with no concept of consequences.

  2. Seems he did waste it. Our reasons for being here are not the best but hey, traders on a trading site. I read stuff trading side all the time then grumble to myself about Options.

But we do make a bit of money.

Pointy? He is wasting his life away. As are the other non-traders like GWB etc. They sure are not getting any smarter with time.

Thank you Senator Cassidy. We need more Republicans like you and Lindsey Graham to call out the Senate Democrats! Wimps like Jeff Flake is a huge embarassment and disgrace!

  4. This week was truly great cover for the additional massive billionare tax cuts of course.

I'd believe the in large part the reason the Ford stuff was made into a circus was to provide that media smoke screen.

  5. Absurd. So, if he did meet her as you put up as a wild possibility, but at the same time does not recall any sexual assault or what really happened that means he did black out under the influence which he also claimed under oath never happened. By the way, he did state under oath that he absolutely did not ever meet Dr Ford. Meet means knowingly being aware of a person in one's presence. Nobody here is talking about two absolute strangers passing each other at the local home center. Should the smallest detail arise that he ran into Dr Ford and interacted with her in any capacity beyond exchanging one word then he lied under oath. Simple as that no matter how you like to twist the story. The scripts and his testimony is on record. Check it out.

And the whole sob story of him being an altar church boy is utter crap and laughable in light of the fact of his heavy drinking record and year book. Nobody who held strongly conservative and Christian values would have ever written such year book entry or allowed an editor to put it into the yearbook for all future generations to see. The entire show how he tried to paint himself as only the hard studying student and sports athlete and church attendee misses the other side of him which is a guy who was even during weekdays under tue influence of alcohol and constantly schemed with friends how to get into girls panties. The scheming part is not the crime here (though a sin when we already talk about claims of his strong faith and church attendance) but the actual wrong image he is painting while stating those things under oath are at best misleading at worst criminal.

Well, Democrats got right now what they were asking for, no question about that. And don't get me wrong here for one second. I want a damn conservative supreme court judge as far right as possible, even one who has the guts to overturn R v W. But I don't want a cheat and liar on that seat. And that is exactly how I read his character. Typical elitist upbringing, where daddy and mommy allow little Kav to dig around as long as the evidence is removed. In case something goes wrong daddy's lawyers stand ready to buy little Kav out. Then some more freebie whoring around in college and after that on to the career ladder that daddy and everyone around him prepared for good kid Kav. That is how it goes and I totally buy into Kav's good side. But most are blind and ignorant to the dirty side of Kav, the stuff that he buried 10 miles under. But guess what some corpses sometimes surface and boy they stink.

  6. Kavanaugh has said publicly that he has not recollection of meeting her and that she was not a friend or anyone in his circle but that he could not rule out the possibility that their paths may have have crossed.

So, contrary to your assertion, my summarizing that does not equate to "my putting up a wild possibility." At least not to the normal mind. Those are Kavanaugh's words in at least setting. His words, not mine.

  7. Exactly my saying, read again what I said. You initially denied that he stated under oath to never have met her but that is EXACTLY what he stated under oath.

  8. My words were an exact quote from what he has said publicly.

If you believe that constitutes perjury from other testimony or statements, or tweets, or attorney statements then you have the perjury case you are looking for. Go for it. Of course, there are only several million people hoping he will commit perjury and we dont hear anyone else saying that. It is all about hoping that it can be proven that he can has committed perjury based on some yet undisclosed findings.

However, I have accurately stated his position on the issue of whether he has ever met her. I am also not prepared to or interested in resolving whether "meeting her" will be proven if it turns out that they were at the same party at the same time or at the beach at the same time, etc. when there were many others there. But, you seem to have energy for that, so go for it. Let us know how the perjury charge against him comes along.

So what? How is that relevant to the question of whether Kavanaugh should be disqualified based on a accusation of groping and some assertions by other women which are unsubstantiated and seemingly false.

If there is real evidence Kavanaugh was going around molesting women he should not be on the Court. But, I have not seen sufficient evidence.

But, if you were accused of a crime would you think you have received Due Process under out Constitution if the victim can not present a date, or time and the "witnesses" she names state they remember no such event.

    2. Doesn't every American deserve due process? Before they lose jobs and their lives?

For instance the New York Times looked to corroborate Swetnick's story or one of the "victims" stories. They could not find corroboration so they did not publish.

Using that NY Times standard Congress should not have published if they could not corroborate Ford's story.

Using Congressional standards any male and maybe some women in the US can now be destroyed.

You can still love women and respect them and realize that many women are molested and at the same time realize there needs to be some corroboration before accusations should be made public.

  10. Kavanagh should be disqualified cause he is not man enough to admit that as a kid in 80s he made some mistakes (some of horrible) which unfortunately were common. Instead, he lied and technically perjured himself. Regarding the due process, he will get his when he will be charged with crimes and I'm confident he can defend himself. he did a job interview and he failed at it miserably.
