Kavanaugh accuser goes public

  1. But, according to Fairstein, it was completely normal that Ford “didn’t remember” several details.

“If she testifies, I would expect her to say ‘I don’t remember’ scores of times,” Fairstein said, for two reasons: the passage of time and trauma. “She found this experience so upsetting that she felt her life was in danger. There might be 220 things she doesn’t know and then a very specific sentence about what happened that was so traumatic."

Legal mumbo jumbo. An article full of excuse making for a bad memory. If that's her testimony no minds will be changed. The left will believe her and the right won't. The hacks know this going in. It's about the campaign trail.

  2. This is from a former sex-crimes prosecutor, not a defense attorney.

Leftists think the nation's business should be held hostage at the last minute by a lone accuser who can't even remember the details of her alleged 35+ year old claim. But only when it supports their politics. And if you don't agree, you hate all women. #WarOnWomen

  4. Irrelevant. The I can't remember all the details will only go to fortify preexisting beliefs.Minds need to be changed in order for Kavanaugh to be ousted. Saying I can't remember isn't going to accomplish that.

  5. I see. So I am reading that to say that her memory of Kavanaugh and anything bad that he did is going to be crystal clear but any questions about anything else is going to be hazy and that proves that Kavanaugh traumatized her. Otherwise she would remember.

That's convenient. Good thing Diane lowered our expectations.

  6. Again the boys have trouble understanding how events have to unfold and why the world does not bend to their impatient immature notions.

Agree. She better remembers all nuances in details. Accusations are too serious for a very serious position. Her saying, well I do not really recall ain’t and shouldn’t fly.

  9. Let's go back to basics for a minute so that I and others can stay current.

Has it been positively established that the accuser has agreed to appear Monday or only at some future point. You know, this is all about dragging this thing out. The dems are going to offer her up but will want it out further. Also the accuser may back down.

Has she agreed to the monday circus?

  10. Here's the bottom line as it stands right now, this instant. We have a man who has been in public service for decades, has been through 6 extensive background checks and to date has absolutely no history of anything remotely resembling the charges being brought. AND we have a woman who can't remember all the details, has no evidence or witnesses willing to verify her accusations, but is certain she was sexually assaulted by the guy who says he wasn't even there. But she's a woman and "deserves to be heard."
