So she was fine with him being on the Fed Appeals Court and working in the WH? Really, who the hell decides to press charges of attempted rape/sexual harassment based on someone's career path?
If Brett Kavanaugh makes it through the nomination process and takes his place on the Supreme Court despite being accused of sexual assault, the message to the country will be clear: Women don’t matter quite as much as men. https://www.yahoo.com/news/kavanaugh-makes-supreme-court-message-184832769.html And there it is, the end game exposed. All of this is nothing but red meat for the unwashed masses on the campaign trail.
I agree completely. If it can be proven by other testimony that he was in fact there it's a different game entirely. He said he wasn't and if there is some retraction of now a foggy memory has him back peddling, just stick a fork in him. Game over.
Chairman Grassley says "The FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh is closed." I am pretty sure that he said that just to piss off the lefties here. When Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa, announced a hearing for next Monday to air a decades-old sexual-assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, it didn't end the debate over how the Senate should handle the charges. It intensified it. Democrats are calling for a full FBI investigation of the allegation before a hearing, saying Monday is too soon. "I'd have the professionals go in there, seek corroborating evidence, talk to the people involved, certainly talk to the third person who they claimed was there and that hasn't been done," Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, a long-time member of the Judiciary Committee and a former chairman told NPR's Morning Edition. "This might take a week or two to get all of this together, but what difference does one or two weeks make when you're talking about a lifetime appointment." The Justice Department seems to agree. In a statement, a Justice Department spokeswoman said the FBI — which has added a letter from Christine Blasey Ford to Kavanaugh's already completed background report file — had already done all it was going to do, because "the allegation does not involve any potential federal crime." "The FBI does not make any judgment about the credibility or significance of any allegation," the statement reads. "The purpose of a background investigation is to determine whether the nominee could pose a risk to the national security of the United States. The allegation does not involve any potential federal crime. The FBI's role in such matters is to provide information for the use of the decision makers." POLITICS Who Is Christine Blasey Ford, The Woman Accusing Brett Kavanaugh Of Sexual Assault? "The FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh is closed," he said. "The FBI is not doing any further investigation."
It is how things always have been going back to the dawn of civilisation. This is thinking teenagers get past, you never did.
from WSJ article, "The Post reports that the therapist’s notes from 2012 say there were four male assailants, but Ms. Ford says that was a mistake. Ms. Ford also can’t recall in whose home the alleged assault took place, how she got there, or how she got home that evening." This is good news for Kavanaugh. Not even recalling how she got there or back home. Com on, such a life touching event should have stuck in memory in great details. This makes a story a lot less credible.

She's going to say she was to drunk and high to remember any details other than the alleged assault. Zero credibility at this point. If that's all they got, then it's just another political hit job and fodder for the November election. The whole war on women don't ya' know.
Correct. As I stated earlier today. Also, the lefty media is taking the alleged fact that she spoke with a therapist and saying that that identifies Kavanaugh. The report does not identify Kavanaugh, unless that has changed in the last 24 hours and I have missed it. She stated that she was assaulted but Kavanaugh's name does not appear, again, unless the reports have been updated since yesterday. The lefties will argue that I am being pernsickity. Not necessarily. I am just saying it is fake news to say that Kavanaugh is named in the therapists report if he is not. In addition- Kavanaugh has stated that he does not recall or was not at that party positioning himself to argue that there could be mistaken identity. It is for him to make that case - not me. But if he is planning on using that defense in part then it would make a big difference if his name is specifically stated in the therapists report because if it is then he does not have as much wiggle room. So the media needs to get that right. Even if it is to correct earlier comments. Just saying if they dont know could be acceptable too and an improvement if they dont know. But saying he is named in the report is not a proper substitute for "I don't know."
