Ahh, actually we had a rather long- extremely long hearing- where her card was not played. A fair hearing does not require you to add an additional inning to the ballgame just because you are behind in the score. And dont kid yourself. This woman has everything to gain. She is and will continue to be an instant martyr among the lefties rather than a nobody teaching some dipshit courses. There is big, big money in being a victim and a martyr in the US and all the follow-on bookdeals. She is about to become a household name - a virtual cash machine. As a canadian you may not understand that this is not and never was about Kavanaugh. Ditto for Kapernick. It is about sticking it to Trump, and there is a ready-made market for that type of activity.
How will her career change? Will she be fired? Will students hate or love her in any different proportion than they already do? Is she not already being called brave and heroic? I'm just stating facts. She stands to lose nothing as this will end right down political lines because there is no way to prove anything one way or another. Upside is talk shows, probably a book deal, invited to all the lefty parties. What's not to like?
Right I've taken the long from ES Y-Low to the cluster at 2906 on a lot of cars so I've paid for my supper tonight. Off for some real world time. Autistic Pointy has a very poor understanding of sex. He thinks it is a burn to point out a man is too big to rape a mosquito... ok. I get reminded of this though even this is better than his efforts.
It's like you're not even paying attention. Brett Kavanaugh was nominated on July 10. Christine Blasey Ford wrote her letter July 30. This was well before the confirmation hearings that began in September unless I am mistaken. So what is your point? What did she do wrong? Soon after she learned that her alleged abuser was nominated for the Supreme Court, she wrote the letter.
She will lose all credibility and face the consequences that go with that outcome. Don't be dismissive. Don't downplay the downside. She is a professional. She has much to lose.
Ahhh. Yes. Indeed. Her claim and her letter were available long before the hearings began. And the reason it was not presented as part of the hearing is? Thank you for the confirmation. Duh. Although I understand that it is not convenient for you to see my point. Not to worry. Everyone else does.
I see. She controlled how her letter was to be submitted and it didnt work out for her so it had nothing to do with her personally? Also, it did work out for her. She offered it up to the lefties as a weapon to be used according to their judgement of when it would could be the most useful, and they have done that. You see what thinking looks like?
