Kaspie has been studying CS and chess, and thinks he Groks it. No way. My prediction is he loses, but closely.
I am making a prediction that not only does Kasparov beat DJ, but that computers don't defeat a World Champion caliber player for the next ten years. nitro
BTW Nitro, would you say that a chessplayer has a headstart on anybody else in learning to trade ? Jack
Well, I do not know. However, Institutions feel that WORLD CLASS Bridge and Chess players _do_. As I have stated in other threads, for the past twenty years I have seen advertisements in the montly magazines for Chess and Bridge for exceptional Chess and Bridge players to go and interview for trading positions at firms. My guess is that any field where people have had to think critically, where there is a great deal of pressure to perform under extreme pressure, and at the same time to not get flustered, will do well trading. There are a ton of fields like that... nitro
