some people care about the constitution because without it we would be the USSR.

it would seem the rest of you are with the something for nothing crowd and would toss out the foundation which made our country great for the free ice cream the pinkos promise in exchange for locking you up into a chavez like state.

I have no desire to waste time arguing about something so obvious zzz.

states decide who gets on their ballots. good luck arguing with yourself on that one.

  2. This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

Pretty clear who has the power...it ain't the states when it comes to federal issues.

    Federal elections are federal issues.

Really, most of your post is so much blather and dribble...

  3. Don't know where this came from but Birthers and Trump are getting attacked more from Republicans then the so called "free ice cream"crowd.

The free ice cream crowd is just sitting back enjoying the show. The same republican party that embraces the racist south wants nothing to do with birthers, that should really tell you guys something

  4. In order to win, Reagan went after the Southern Democrats. He got them.

George W Bush, with the help of Karl Rove, cemented them into the GOP.

Now they own the party. No Republican candidate can win without their vote.

    Call it their "legacy"....

Gee whiz guys. What does Trump have to lose by being a birther? As far as I can see, nothing.

Will he lose credibility? In what sense? Who took him serious? No one. He has said he was going to run before.

Is this any skin off his back, what people think? Not really.

However the outcome, will anyone's opinions change regarding Trump? He's just playing with ya. The whole thing is probably an inside joke.

  7. I think Trump and Obama have met. Trump has decided put the birther issue in bold font, as this only hurts the pubs. The birthers of 2012 will be the Palin of 2008, just too much. The independents will re-elect Obama. This is classic co-intelpro.

  8. Rove got Bush elected to Governor of Texas and President of the US twice.

The smart money says stand with Rove and not the birthers

    lol, there goes your credibility.

Now if he is saying it because you assume he does believe in it, why does it matter if he says if for a client or for himself??
But thanks birthers, thanks Reps, it has been a good show so far and can't wait how it is going to end. Probably with a 2nd Obama presidency.

Palin and Trump are historical justice for Nader, they are nothing but a spoiler for the Reps. Rove recognizes this and trying to counteract....

  10. Rove represents the establishment republicans who bitterly resent the intrusion of the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and now Trump into what was their private club.

Guys like Rove only care about having influence. He is like a republican Bill clinton, who checked the overnight polling results to decide on his core values. In fact, Rove could have easily worked for Clinton or Obama for that matter.

The naive conservatives who watch O'Reilly and these other shows don't understand that these people hold them in contempt. Rove was behind an administration that got us into two stupid wars, basically bankrupted the country through crazy spending and them went along with a bailout of the banks and a government takeover of the auto industry. And pushed amnesty for illegals and left the border wide open for eight years. He's got a lot of nerve to be lecturing conservatives or to even call himself conservative.

As for Trump, I can't see how it is hurting anything for him to do this investigation. Either he settles the issue one way or the other, or he makes a fool out of himself. How is that going to hurt the republican party? Why is it some issue of morality or racism? I don't like Trump and would hate to see him get elected, but of course he would a lot better than what we have now.
