They are labeled NOT for simply speaking out. They are labeled for resorting to unnecessary, excessive, unjustified, unlawful, and/or offensive and unlawful actions, false accusations and/or lying to the police.
and who is the judge of that? the twitter world with there 1/4 of the story and other 3/4 hidden? these people are being abused by the internet and its wrong. if it was your mother you'd care. if you want to do the vigilante thing, so be it. people aren't going to like that too much.
If it were my mother doing Karen, I'd care enough to get her the mental help should would obviously need.
People being improperly accused aren't being vigilantes; they are the victims of Karens filing unlawful and false police reports.
that guy threatened her and her dog. "you're not going to like what i'm about to do" she panicked. understandable. its the "african american" terminology that had everybody freaking out. maybe she's racist. that doesn't mean she was wrong.
the interent are being vigalantes. judge jury and executioner (threatening the employer with bad publicity unless they fire the "convicted")
We all have our opinions. Her case is in Oct. The people will decide then, or she'll plead out. Hollaback when either happens.
The internet didn't arrest her. The police did. Last time I checked, they don't use internet opinions to decide whether or not to make an arrest.
