pray for wisdom and you may get far more than simply cash and prizes..... everyone from where i am from are both wealthy and well informed..... nothing new to see here..... but wisdom is knowing that wealth alone is meaningless since none of us can take it with us nor does it grant any special powers to our dust particles upon our eventual demise.... all those who fear the Living God of Heaven will seek wisdom superior to wealth material in this world and the next..... homeless man says peace out.....
Putting the obviously flawed strategy side, no serious HNW investor, let alone any institution would touch this with a 10 foot pole. The whole shebang would not pass the first 10 minutes of the due diligince. This "Karen" is peddling to plain old Joe suckers, not serious investors. That alone speaks plenty of how legitimate this is.
I agree but let's point out something, selling options isn't unique in the HF world. A certain famous HF manager employed the exact same strategy the only difference between him and Karen is that Karen survived the 2008 meltdown without blowing up. Also would you say that the investors in other similar HFs are just plain old Joe suckers? I bet there are plenty of "sophisticated" big money investors in those, not just old red neck Joes.... Greed is a very strong emotion. It can over ride common sense, specially when good results for several years indicate it otherwise....
Do you have the slightest clue of what it takes to raise money from HNW investors that have a clue? Let's not even mention institutional investors. Those silly Youtube videos alone would be a huge red flag.
You didn't answer the question. Apparently she doesn't have a problem of rising money. But the question was about other HF managers who employ similar strategies. Are the investors in their Hfs the same Joe Schmucks??? By the way, you are the HF manager, do you really care if your investors are super sophisticated individuals or just the latest lottery winners? And if you do care, why? P.S. The HF industry can't even outperform the index, so all those HNW people and institution entities are investing in an industry that has an inferior profit return. So why should care about their opinion? They invested in LTCM too...
Is she even for real? What's the evidence other than a cheesy DIY charity page and TOS endorsement? surf
All you are doing is babbling, the reality is that you do not understand current day due diligence and regulation that affect just about anyone who is SERIOUS in managing other people's money.
Exactly! Anyone who is supposedly managing $100Mil+ is bound to have some significant presence that can be doublechecked. Let alone be looked at by regulators.
