If he was so good he would be running a Manged fund and performance will be there for everybody to see!
... and expose Sossy's trading performance to public scrutiny ... no chance ... just look what happened to his protege ... Karen the Superfraud !
Personally I gave up on tastytrade's approach a long time ago. But I am just a newbie and I recognize you can make money with any system as long as you know what you are doing. As an example, I couldn't (and still cannot) make money trading butterfly but @destriero prints money with his butterfly trades. I will let @Sweet Bobby explains for himself and Karen.
I don't go crazy and watch like a hawk, but I'm trying to get 1% per naked put using Tastytrade standard rules (45 DTE, close 50% profit target, roll for more time and more distance from the market about halfway of the life of the trade, I've added a close out at 1x loss). Other than what exactly what K. Bruton does at 30 delta I wrote down what she does based on the interviews and the strategy survived the Aug. 2015 crash (as I showed above)
DUDE! She was rolling $40MM in positions each month at an additional loss of $3MM per DITM calendar spread position. IOW she fraudulently rolled losses giving up $3MM in edge each time to perpetuate the fraud. Survived 2015? Dude, blow up. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...s-geeks-on-parade.328651/page-14#post-4954964
She doesn't do calendar spreads, atleast from her interviews. Somebody mentioned Martingale (which fits the description of rolling for more time). I've done this on a much smaller scale (which seems more a disaster on the call side than put side). The fraud is from not reporting the paper loss while claiming the trades that close for a profit. All I'm talking about is the strategy, not the reporting of the PnL
Also there's no need for name calling. I showed above the strategy is survivable. I didn't say I would do it. It's just theory. Calm down
